After this fall’s successful McKinsey Alumni Retreat-sparked by meaningful momentum and collaboration-we are delighted to welcome you to our next gathering on the West Coast: the McKinsey Alumni Event, Fall 2026 in Bay Area.

  Join us November 6-7 for a weekend of connection, insight, and inspiration.
We’re keeping the format concise: a welcome dinner on Friday evening, followed by a full day of TED-style talks and our signature Capital Connection session on Saturday, and ending with a closing dinner on Saturday evening.

This retreat is designed for alumni who are actively engaged in building, investing, advising, or leading ventures, dealmakers, operators, and connectors who want to exchange ideas and create real momentum. If that sounds like you, we’d love to have you join us.
Space is limited to 25–30 attendees, so please register early to help us plan accordingly. As always, our goal is to foster meaningful connections among McKinsey alumni, reuniting old friends, sparking new ideas, and strengthening our network in an intimate, informal setting.

 TED Talks

We’ll kick off Saturday with a curated lineup of 15–20 minute alumni-led talks on topics ranging from leadership and innovation to personal passion projects. If you’d like to present, please reach out to Wade at whansen@cabrilloadvisors.com.

 Capital Connection

Back by popular demand, this session will spotlight McKinsey alumni entrepreneurs preparing to raise capital in the next six months. If you’d like to pitch, or if you represent capital and want to attend, email Wade ASAP to secure your spot: whansen@cabrilloadvisors.com. All attendees are welcome to observe.

 Cost

Early Bird: $800 per person
Regular Ticket: $900 after October 1
Includes all meals and programming. Travel and lodging not included.

This retreat is organized by McKinsey alumni volunteers and is not affiliated with McKinsey & Company. All fees go directly toward covering event costs.
